<review>Travelling: Songs from Studios, Stages, Hotelrooms & Other Strange Places is the ninth studio album by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released 26 March 2012 by EMI.

Originally titled Tourism 2, the album is a direct sequel to the 1992 album of the same name. The album's name went through several revisions before release − including 2rism and T2 − on the insistence of record label EMI, who claimed that "titles with numbers aren't good".

The album entered the top ten in four countries, including Sweden and Germany, and was preceded by lead single "It's Possible" on 2 March 2012.

Much like the original Tourism album, Travelling matches its predecessor in that it features a mix of both new songs and re-workings of previously unreleased older material. "See Me", which was originally an out-take from the Crash! Boom! Bang! sessions and released on the "Salvation" single, appears on the album in a "totally new recording, except Marie's [vocal]", while "Turn of the Tide" was written during the Have a Nice Day sessions in 1998 and first recorded during the Travelling sessions in a studio in Sun City. "Touched by the Hand of God" was originally the title track of their previous studio album Charm School. The album also contains "The Weight of the World", which first appeared as a b-side on the "A Thing About You" single in 2002, and a new version of "Perfect Excuse" from Per Gessle's 2008 solo album Party Crasher featuring shared vocal duties between Marie and Helena Josefsson. This will be the first track in Roxette's history not to feature any backing vocals from Gessle, who explained that he "always wanted to hear Marie sing that song, 'cause it's beautiful. On my album, it's me singing the verse and Helena doing the chorus, and this is just Marie and Helena singing it. It's [...] very different to the original."

The album also features three live songs, including a live version of "She's Got Nothing On (But the Radio)" recorded in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 16 April 2011, a performance of "Stars" taken from a soundcheck in Dubai on 20 May 2011, and an orchestral performance of "It Must Have Been Love" from their Night of the Proms set in Rotterdam in 2009.</review>

<artistdesc>Roxette is a Swedish pop rock group, formerly consisting of Marie Fredriksson (vocals and piano) and Per Gessle (vocals and guitar). They are Sweden's second-best-selling music act after ABBA.
Before coming together to form the duo, Fredriksson and Gessle were already established artists in Sweden. Fredriksson had released a number of solo albums and Gessle was the lead singer and songwriter of Gyllene Tider, a band which had three No. 1 albums. Acting on the advice of the managing director of their record label, the two joined to record "Neverending Love", which became a hit single in Sweden. Roxette went on to achieve nineteen UK Top 40 hits, and several US Hot 100 hits, including four US number-ones with "The Look", "Listen to Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love", featured on the soundtrack of Pretty Woman, and "Joyride". Their other hits include "Dressed for Success", "Dangerous", and "Fading Like a Flower".
After the release of Don't Bore Us, Get to the Chorus!, a greatest hits record, the duo took a hiatus before returning with the albums Have a Nice Day (1999) and Room Service (2001). They continued to chart in other territories, mainly in Europe, Australia and Latin America, where they earned various Gold and Platinum awards until the beginning of the new millennium. In 2002, the duo took a break from recording and touring when Fredriksson was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Gessle went on to release solo albums and reunited with Gyllene Tider before Roxette took to the stage together again for the first time in eight years, in 2009, during Gessle's European Party Crasher tour. In 2011, they released Charm School, their first studio album in ten years, which was followed by Travelling in 2012. Their final studio album, Good Karma, was released in 2016. Marie Fredriksson died on 9 December 2019, at the age of 61, following a long battle with her brain tumour.
Their songs "It Must Have Been Love" and "Listen to Your Heart" continue to receive wide radio airplay, with both singles receiving awards from BMI in 2014 for achieving five million radio plays. They have sold an estimated 80 million records worldwide, with over 10 million in certified units from Germany, the US and the UK, achieving gold and platinum certifications for Joyride and Look Sharp! in all three regions. Since 2021, Gessle has released music under the name PG Roxette; their debut album Pop-Up Dynamo! was issued in 2022.
On 2 May 2024, Per Gessle announced the reformation of Roxette with Lena Philipsson on vocals and the announcement they will tour South Africa and Australia in February-March 2025.
